Marking 15 years of its existence, the homes expo 2025 was launched last week on the 29th under the theme: “The future of real estate.”

Hosted at the Sheraton Tourism Centre in partnership with KCCA and the ministry of housing, the launch engaged in a discussion that laid the foundations for what is yet to be the biggest expo hosted in Uganda. The vision bearer Dr. Edwin Musiime emphasized that 2025 will focus on shaping the future of real estate, emphasizing investment, finance, design, and sustainability.

The event brought together industry stakeholders to discuss trends, innovations, and challenges in the sector. The launch brought together leaders, key stakeholders, industry experts, and 2025 exhibitors.

The launch also hosted international key partners like Yogi Group International, a global leader in visionary real estate based in Dubai.

“The future of real estate is not just in structures, but in vision. It is about creating spaces that elevate how people live, work, and connect.

In East Africa, we must move from shelter to smart, from concrete to community, and from ownership to impact.

This Expo is our declaration that we are ready to build the future and not just buildings,” said Dr. Edwin Musiime Chairman Homes Expo Uganda and River Group Africa.

He added that due to the housing deficit and quality of housing, the expo inspires a declaration that we are ready to build the future and not just buildings which requires great input from both the private and government sector.

The launch had guests engaged in private, one-on-one sessions with the team from Yogi Group, led by their CEO, Mr. Atinirmal sharing insights on the numerous Dubai investment opportunities.

Mr. Atirnimal presented powerful insights into Yogi International Real Estate Dubai’s commitment to sustainable, high-value developments across the region and, more importantly, the untapped potential of Uganda’s real estate market.

“Uganda has the natural promise, the spirit, and the talent to become one of Africa’s leading real estate destinations,” said.

He added, “We are excited to be part of shaping that future together one bold project at a time.”

The expo will bring together key stakeholders holders and the best real estate players featuring the property awards.

The Homes Expo 2025 shall be hosted on the 6th to 7th September at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens.
