Lugazi Hills Golf and Country Club will this Saturday not only host the grand finale of the 2025 Johnnie Walker Uganda Ladies Open, but also an unforgettable She Walks Sip Over celebration- thanks to Johnnie Walker Uganda.

A signature event under Johnnie Walker’s She Walks Mentorship Program, the Sip Over is dedicated to spotlighting and celebrating women who are making significant strides in golf and across diverse fields.

Anticipated to be a stylish evening, under a regal gold-and-black dress code, the She Walks Sip Over promises guests a vibrant blend of live music, whisky mentorship, curated Johnnie Walker cocktails, premium bottle service, elegant décor, and a unique platform to network and honor trailblazing women. The event will close out the Ladies Open with flair, class, and the unmistakable Johnnie Walker spirit of Keep Walking.

This marks the second Sip Over dedicated to women in golf, following last year’s highly successful debut edition.

Speaking about the highly anticipated experience, Christine Kyokunda, the Johnnie Walker Uganda Brand Manager, said:

“We are bringing the She Walks experience to Lugazi. Through initiatives like the Sip Over, Johnnie Walker aims to create spaces where women can connect, celebrate their achievements, and continue breaking barriers with confidence and style. This is more than just a celebration; it is a movement to uplift women making strides, both on the course and beyond.”

On the greens, the championship promises equally high energy, with top regional talent already battling for glory. Defending champion Iddy Madina, from Tanzania, is back to defend her crown, in what is set to be a thrilling contest.

The She Walks Sip Over will round off the Ladies Open with an evening that embodies the perfect blend of elegance, vibrance, and progress, all anchored in Johnnie Walker’s ethos of Keep Walking.
