Victoria University has officially opened its March 2026 intake, giving prospective students another opportunity to join one of Uganda’s most innovative and student-centred universities.

In line with the growing demand for digital skills and future-ready careers, the university has introduced two cutting-edge undergraduate programmes:
Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences and Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.

The new programmes are designed to equip students with practical, industry-relevant skills in emerging technology fields that are shaping the global economy. From machine learning and data analytics to cybercrime investigation and digital security, learners will gain hands-on experience aligned with real-world challenges.

Speaking on the development, university officials noted that the programmes reflect Victoria University’s commitment to preparing graduates for the digital age.

“The world is rapidly shifting toward data-driven decision-making and digital security. These new programmes ensure our students are not just participants in this transformation, but leaders,” a university representative said.

The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences focuses on areas such as data analytics, machine learning, automation, and intelligent systems. Graduates will be well-positioned for careers in technology, finance, healthcare, research, and innovation sectors.

Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics responds to the rising need for professionals who can protect digital systems and investigate cybercrime. Students will study network security, ethical hacking, digital investigations, and cyber law—skills increasingly in demand across both public and private sectors.

Victoria University’s March intake is open to applicants for certificate, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. With flexible learning options, modern facilities, and a strong focus on employability, the university continues to attract students seeking quality, career-oriented education.

Prospective students are encouraged to apply early to secure their place in these highly anticipated programmes.
