Kampala Parents School pupil Bracha Anganire Barnabas has been crowned Mini Miss Universe 2026 after representing Uganda at the international children’s pageant.
Barnabas earned the opportunity to compete internationally after winning the Little Miss Universe Uganda 2026 competition through a public voting contest.
According to results published by Africa Votes, which hosted the Ugandan voting contest, Barnabas received 23,193 votes, accounting for 18.34 per cent of the 126,490 votes cast.

She finished 1,343 votes ahead of the runner-up, Nasali Melisa, who secured 21,850 votes, while Ayebare Shiloh came third with 20,232 votes.
Barnabas emerged victorious from a field of 30 contestants who participated in the Ugandan competition, which ran from 7 May to 23 May, with the grand finale held on 23 May.
Her international victory came after she competed against young contestants representing different countries.
Pageant news platform Pageant Trend announced Barnabas as the winner of the Mini Miss Universe 2026 title and identified her as Uganda’s representative.
The Little Miss Universe initiative focuses on identifying and mentoring young girls, helping them build confidence and providing platforms to showcase their talents.
