Sporting sharp trims and fresh nail sets for graduation week, Nkozi university students gathered at the Bbosa Hostel courtyard as the Captain Morgan gave the graduating class one last epic hurrah.

“Captain Morgan is built on the spirit of fun, friendship, and shared moments,” said Captain Morgan’s Raymond Karama. “Grad week is a major milestone, and we wanted to give Nkozi students a send-off to playfully celebrate their journey, their bonds, and their next chapter.”

TrellyOnSet kicked things off with Jokweez on the hype, drawing revellers from their rooms into the courtyard one by one. DJ Dranix kept the Afrobeats flowing with Ursh Trey on the mic, setting the tone for what would become a night of pure, unfiltered play led by the Party Captains.

Quick footwork and cheers gripped to the stage and the games area as Kwepena, ring toss, balloon popping, ludo, and card games pulled people into squads. It was the warmth of the night shots, toasts, and shared laughter.

Then came the intense, loud, and gloriously chaotic tug of war. Team Kohen Jaycee emerged victorious, earning merch and a bottle of Captain Morgan to keep the vibe. Captain Kohen gave a performance that had the girls swooning towards the stage, the courtyard tent briefly transforming into a karaoke session.

DJ Slidethru lived up to his name, sliding through party anthems as the crowd sang and danced along. Wiz J and St Trevor followed with a mad musical mashup, including a lit moment that had the crowd swaying in unison to “Forever Young” in the spirit of the night.

The party closed with Nkozi’s own DJ Kibs and MC Kharts as the twin duo ending the night the best way Nkozi knows loud, united, and unforgettable. The night ended with a feeling that the journey doesn’t end after the last dance, for many they are only just setting sail.
