Ugandan fashion brand Kai Divo Collection holds private showcase in Nigeria

The year, 2022 will most definitely be a year to remember for Ugandan fashion designer, Kaijuka Abbas, the Creative Director, for the brand, Kai’s Divo Collection.

The much sought-after stylist by many Ugandan stars who just came from an Haute showcase in Italy showcased his latest collection in Abuja, Nigeria at the annual Men’s Fashion Week, Nigeria.

This was coupled with a private showing that the designer was booked for the elite business and political figures within Nigeria, including numerous designers, ministers, Governors, and many others.

The pieces showcased included his freedom and the rebirth collections, which had been unveiled earlier in the year.

The designer’s West African tour also saw him receive an award from the Fashion Designer of the Year at the Collection Design and Fashion Awards, in Port Harcourt.

“West Africa and Nigeria in particular have always held a special place in my heart because this is one of those places that have been crucial and part of my growth as a designer and my brand. This showcase, like all the ones before, was exceptional, and the love and support I received on this was overwhelming,” Abbas explained.
