In a move that indicates government is more than serious about implementing measures to control pornography in the country, Information & National guidance minister Gen. Jim Muhwezi has today announced a Pornography Control Committee set by Government. The committe will be charged withmonitoring pornographic material in the country and ensuring that perpetrators are apprehended and prosecuted.
And notably, the committeee includes renowned firebrand pastor Martin Ssempa, who has previously raised controversy with his every hardlinr stands against what he considers immoral acts.
The Poronography Control Committe named by ssempa has nine members in total headed by Dr. Annette Kezaabu Kasimbazi. Other members are Dalton Opwonya, Sheik Mohammad Ali Waiswa, Joan Kyomugisha, Gastone Byamugisha, Hafisa Kabagonja, Victoria Sentamu and Fred Nyakori.
