zahara13Miss Uganda Zahara Muhammed Nakiyaga was among the recent graduates at Makerere University.

The young lady who holds the crown for the fairest lady in the land attained a Bachelor of Development Studies degree.

This achievement is testament to the fact that the Miss Uganda Institution is moving away from churning out socialites to graceful ladies with a combination of beauty and brains. Zahara’s predecessor Leah Kalanguka also graduated with a Bachelors in Computer Engineering a year ago.

Zahara feels the degree is just the start of a purposeful and successful life. She shared photos of her big day.

“For those with PHDS N MASTERS, this is not a big deal. For those that haven’t gotn it but are striving to, its an achievement they look up to and us that have it pray it’s a start of a purposeful and successful life. INSHaALLAH Congrats to all graduants.” she posted on her Facebook wall.

Zahara is not just another fresh graduate so she had to hire the services of professional photographer Haruna Ssebagala of Access Films to capture the moments.
