Uganda Cranes play their last fixture at 2017 AFCON, Gabon.  With Cranes out, its a game  for Uganda but a decider for Mali.

We have over seven players who have not featured in any game. It is time Micho let these players take charge in today’s game and experience the atmosphere of playing on such a stage.

Micho ought to let our future stars rub shoulders with already established talents playing in European top leagues. Our  squad  has over five senior players who by now are past their prime.

Rising stars like Mohammed Shaban, Timothy Awanyi, Salim Magoola and Yunus Ssentamu need to bond with the older guns.   Their appearance in today’s game will give them more exposure and a chance to prove they are worth matching the footsteps of the outgoing generation.

Similarly Senegal fielded their second eleven in their last group game against Algeria and the team proved themselves with an impressive 2-2 draw. While Micho hinted at fielding a strong side, there is nothing Cranes have to lose at this stage. Cranes play Mali at 10pm
