Government to register all who participate in gambling and betting

It is a public secret gambling and betting is a wide-spread practice in every corner of Uganda. With mush-rooming betting platforms and companies, government now plans to register all who in gambling under the central monitoring system.





 

“Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board  boss Edgar Agaba made the revelation at Uganda Media Center while announcing new regulatory guidelines on betting and gambling activities in the country”, NTV reported.

Some of the regulations aim to protect youngsters from the dangers of gambling.
