Government bans tight fitting clothes, coloured nails and wigs for public servants

Public Service Ministry through Permanent Secretary, Mrs Catherine Bitarakwate Musingwire has issued a dress code notice for non-uniformed public servants.  Those who enjoyed life as slay queens and kings in such offices, your chances have been dimmed.

In the notice, the ministry ordered all female servants to dress in a skirt or dress that is not above the knees and shouldn’t be tight and transparent.   They also prohibited them from painting coloured nails and hair inform of natural hair, braids and hair extension.



For the men, they were ordered to only put on black and brown shoes while at the work place. This to be accompanied by net trousers, long sleeved shirts, jacket and a tie. Those who enjoyed dressing tight fitting trouser and shirts will reserve them for only events.
