Inaugural Ladies Open to tee off next Monday

Another exciting twist has been added to the local golf calendar as Monday next week will see the tee off of the first-ever Uganda Golf Club Ladies Open Championship.

The maiden event which has already attracted 250 players is slated to run from Monday, August 13 and conclude Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the Uganda Golf Club, Kitante.

One hundred caddies will grace the tee-off action first on August 13 while the 40 professionals will grace the event four days later.

The Ladies Championship will then take place between August 17 and 18, with a subsidiary event for the gentlemen on August 18 at the Baileys-sponsored event.
