Recent research shows that the number of children dropping out of school remains on the rise in Uganda. Research also suggests that the situation has shifted from bad to worse simply because of the fast increasing cost of education in Uganda today!

However, some organisations like ICEA Life Assurance co. Ltd, have been able to come up with plans with an aim of trying to guarantee the future of education for the Ugandan child.

According to ICEA, the TOTO Education Plan was developed to cater for the desire of parents to see their children progress through education even when they are incapacitated or not around.

The insurer recently carried out massive activations across some of the biggest malls/supermarkets around Kampala, and they came back with great feedback; “a good number of parents picked interest in taking up the policy, which is an indication that this is an insurance plan that every parent who would wish to see their child achieve their dreams should sign up for,” an ICEA official told us.

To sign up for the TOTO Education Plan, one can either visit any of the above mentioned malls or even call a toll free number- 0800120100 for more details.
