Uganda Crane’s sloppy performances at the ongoing AFCON 2023 qualifiers have evoked Ugandans to criticize head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic for his defensive tactics and blamed them for the side’s poor performance.

Uganda is at rock bottom in Group F with one point. The group is led by Algeria with nine, Tanzania comes second with four points while Niger has two points.

Ahead of this evening’s reverse fixture against Tanzania, the Cranes need to bounce back from their underwhelming performances if the team is to dream of getting the campaign back on the rails.

However, Ugandans are already calling for Micho’s sacking.

A one Innocent Jr Robin said, “Bambi someone tell Hon Magogo that Micho (The so-called Serbian Wolf) keeps learning and repeating the same class. The man is clueless about coaching football.”

“Micho went with his suitcases to Tanzania that’s why the Press Conference is on Thursday,” Geno Eric said in a tweet.

Veteran journalist Simon Kaggwa Njaala said, “Once Micho is out, booting Magogo will be easy. We need to restore the image of what unites us.”

Another journalist Rajab Bogere Kanakulya said, “The day Micho demanded to be called a local coach, that’s when he would have resigned coz here in Uganda local coaches are not granted the opportunity of coaching Uganda Cranes.”
