Patience Rwabwogo Museveni, the daughter of President Museveni, has opened up about her spiritual journey, sharing that she has been engaged in communication with God since a young age.

During an interview on Urban TV, Pastor Patience, who leads the Covenant Nations Church, attributed her ability to hear from God to her unwavering faith and dedication to her religious convictions.

“I began hearing from God when I was still young, around 11 years old. It was the first time I experienced a distinct voice that wasn’t my own or anyone else’s. It wasn’t an audible voice, but rather a clear voice that I could perceive,” Patience revealed.

She further explained that the ability to communicate with God is not exclusive to her but is accessible to all believers.

Regarding her role as a pastor, Patience clarified that it was not a path she consciously chose, but rather a calling she accepted.

“I don’t believe I chose this path. The path chose me. I didn’t say, ‘Oh, let me become a pastor.’ Instead, I felt that God was guiding me towards this direction. Because my family recognized my relationship with God, they always provided support and assistance in any way they could,” she shared.

Patience recounted that in 2006, she made the decision to establish a church to expand her evangelistic endeavours.

“For the first three years, our church was held in our home. However, due to the growing number of attendees, we had to relocate to a rented space since our compound couldn’t accommodate everyone,” she explained.

Last Friday, President Yoweri Museveni inaugurated the book “Jesus’ Africa,” written by Patience Museveni.

Spanning 461 pages, the book delves into the significance of Africa in God’s redemptive plan and addresses the challenges faced by the continent and its people. Patience also shares her personal experiences and encounters with God throughout various stages of her life.
