Uganda is hosting the Rugby Africa Cup, the biggest event on the continent this weekend and to ensure great hospitality, all the eight teams taking part in the tournament are residing at Speke Resort in Munyonyo.

This year’s Rugby Africa Cup will serve as one of the qualifiers for the 2027 Rugby World Cup and Uganda will be hoping to use home advantage as hosts.

As Uganda positions itself to host more international sporting meets, hosting players at a top facility ticks several hospitality boxes for the country. This rugby event can serve as a “dress rehearsal for the 2027 Africa Cup football tournament.
