Dr. Stella Nyanzi is leaving no stone unturned is her quest for provision of pads for the girl child especially those who cannot afford them. While at a fundraising show yesterday evening, she pulled off “pakachini” dance moves that “moved” the crowd.
The crowd moved their hands to their wallets and contributed to the cause. A band led the fundraising event with Stella Nyanzi as the guest performer. They performed a theme song.
“Singing and dancing to the theme song called “I have a pad, I put it here, I pepeya,” at yesterday’s live band music performance by TUK Band 256 held at Ice Breakers Uganda (IBU) and aimed at fundraising for #Pads4GirlsUg. We had loads of fun, renewed our friendships and collected money to buy sanitary pads! Thank you for standing with us in support”, she posted on Facebook.
She started the fundraising drive three weeks ago.
