Since the ASFA’s (Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards), celebrity stylist Brian Ahumuza had managed to stay out of the media. News reaching our gossip desk however has it that the Ciroc Ambassador recently sponsored the Kampala Ice Cream and Cake Festival. Our sources reveal that he parted with a whopping 50 Million.

“The Abryanz brand is reputed for dealing with only the best. And the Kampala Ice Cream and Cake Festival is one such event. It exudes class and appeals to the exact demographic that our brand appeals to. That is why we are partnering with them on this edition,” revealed Ahumuza during a phone interview.

Sources further relay that he joins a list of big brands like Liquid Silk, Silk Events, Tweny Moments among others that have sponsored the event. When we called event organizer Solomon BW Muleyi, he relayed that this year’s edition of the festival is going to be better than any Uganda has ever seen.

“Uganda’s entertainment landscape has seen a lot of mediocrity. Festivals have lost meaning. But with the Kampala Ice and Cake Festival, we are going to redefine festivities. And because it is a family affair, we have tailored a horde of activities that will ensure that the kids and adults experience the entertainment in equal measures. The festival will have a temporary kids park that will have several bouncy castles and blow-up swimming pools, complete with kid’s experts to orchestrate the fun. The adults will receive entertainment from all angles. But mostly, from tasting various cake and ice cream flavors. We will have cake bake-offs, flavor tasting competitions, boyfriend and husband competitions, atop the live band that will be playing,” he relayed during a press conference earlier this week.
