We are going to hunt for votes like a bushman hunting ants in a desert — FDC vows to defeat Bobi Wine, NRM

Forum for Democratic Change has vowed to retain the Kyadondo East MP seat at all costs.  The Party secretary General Harold Kaija added that it’s on record, the FDC strength started in Kyadondo during the reign of fallen leader Hon. Sam Njuba therefore there is no doubt, FDC will win the race.



“We are going to hunt for votes like a bushman hunting for ants in a desert, this is our Seat, we lost it because of the carelessness of the electoral commission. We must retain it at all costs,” Kaija said.

FDC’s Apollo Kantinti,  is  in the race to reclaim the seat. Opposition leaning singer, Bobi Wine aka Robert Kyagulanyi is running on Independent ticket. Other candiates include Nkuyingi Muwada, NRM’s William Sitenda Ssebalu, Kayongo Sowedi Male, Democratic Party’s Lilian Babirye and Kasasa Edward as an independent candidate.



The seat fell vacant after the Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the High Court decision nullifying the election of Apollo Kantinti.
