2017 served us with various romantic marriage proposals. There was the lovey dovey couple that made a movie-scene like proposal at Acacia Mall, a university lecturer proposed to his former student at Wandegeya roundabout…oh, what a year a love!

However, 2018, is fast proving to be a sharp contrast. A few minutes into the year, one girl decided to disobey the societal male honour and proposed to her elderly mzungu sponsor! Chei! As if that was not enough, a day later, we have another Ugandan man who could not wait for his girlfriend, fresh from Kyeyo to unpack her bags. He proposed to her at the airport!
