The day was  Saturday 27, August seven years ago when Bobi Wine and Barbie  said ‘I do’ at Rubaga Cathedral. The multi-million affair was the talk of town as Barbie walked down the aisle with a tattoo of Bobi Wine’s face on her back. At the same time, the singer was spotting dreadlocks while in company of his father, who later passed on.

Seven years later, the couple found themselves in a packed courtroom today as singer turned legislator was fighting for his freedom.

While, the bail could be the best anniversary gift to the couple, there is no doubt that the two are arguably Uganda’s biggest celebrity couple. To further seal the moment, Bobi composed the song ‘For Better For Worse’, a song inspired the wedding vows with some visuals of the ceremony.

The couple continues to amaze Ugandans. Indeed, it has been for better, for worse. Happy anniversary Barbie and Bobi!
