Singer Mowzey Radio of the Goodlyfe duo went native and hurled insults at promoter Balaam Baruhagare, calling him an idiot during the Goodlyfe show.

“Balaam you are an idiot, you wanted to sabotage this show,” Radio said. The concert that was held at Hotel Africana on Friday night was promoted by Balaam’s rival Bobkins Kibirige of Kibo Media.

On Thursday, Balaam caused the arrest of one of Radio and Weasel’s managers Lawrence Labeja (read the full story here), accusing him of taking Shs7m for Radio and Weasel to perform at a function that President Yoweri Museveni was presiding over in Gulu, only for the duo not to show up.

The Gulu event was organised by Hon. Hatwib Katoto and Radio also called the MP an “idiot” claiming the arrest was made to sabotage The Best of Radio and Weasel concert.
“Idiots like Balaam use us to make money. I know you are a rich man, but you made me pay a lot of money yesterday,” Radio said. Goodlyfe had to refund Balaam’s money before their manager was released.

Radio went on to interrupt the performance of the duo’s Nkwetaga song to repeatedly call Balaam and the MP idiots, to the shock of the crowd.

Weasel on the other hand stuck to singing, leaving many wondering what the singer had taken to act uncouth in public, because there are saner ways of expressing grievances.
