imageComical presidential advisor on media issues Tamale Mirundi is wanted by police on the allegations of misuse of a fire arm .

Tamale reportedly stormed Radio Simba offices in Bukoto on Wednesday night with a pistol in hand and forced his way into the station offices.

Besides refusing to abide by the station’s security rules of signing into the guests’ book, the chatty presidential advisor allegedly threatened to shoot the station receptionist Justine Mudangi, before he forced his way into the offices.

According to Justine, when Tamale showed up, he was screaming on top of his voice; “he was holding a pistol and he was abusive. He said he was looking for Innocent Kafeero (a comedian that imitates him). He said he wanted to shoot him!” She said!

Justine added that Tamale kicked doors to different offices open in the search for Kafero, even when he had been informed that the comedian had left minutes earlier!

Justine lodged a complaint at Kiira Road police station.

News coming our way indicates that Commissioner of police in charge private fire arms- Comissioner of Police Bazir Mugisha has ordered Kiira road police boss SP Michael Kasigire to launch investigations into the matter and should Tamale be found in wrong, the law should take its course!
