News reaching our desk is that the NRM national vice chairperson for eastern region recently acquired management rights for the dilapidated Mandela stadium hotel. Mukula won the tender to run the hotel after its former management failed to turn the facility around.
According to sources, the hotel has been repeatedly shunned by sporting associations which are in real sense supposed to be its biggest clientele. We have learnt that Mukula has moved to give the hotel a new look and renovations are already underway.
