NBS TV emerged a huge winner at the just concluded Media Challenge Awards that were held last Sunday.  The awards, hosted at the Serena hotel, saw NBS TV beat its competitors to the Best Live Coverage award, while Rukhshana Namuyimba scooped the Best Female News Anchor award, and the new talk show– The Frontline emerged the award winning program in the Best Talk show category.

NBS TV has been a force to reckon with their timely and extremely clear picture live coverage for a while now. The station also improved their news department when they went fishing from rivals NTV Uganda earlier this year.

Indeed, award winning female anchor- Rukhshana, was one of the big catches from their fishing expeditions. Congs are in order!
