International music promoter Suudiman has called out Ugandan artistes to forget about joining politics. While appearing on NBS TV recently, the music promoter stated that the success of Bobi Wine is one of a kind and other artistes who think they can also achieve the same feat are only day dreaming.
“Bobi Wine is on another level. Let them stick to music and make money. You will come to us, we give you loans for campaigns and you end up behind bars after losing the elections”, he warned.
Suudiman argued that Kyadondo East MP and singer Bobi Wine is a man of demonstrated leadership capability. He revealed that Bobi Wine helped to calm down a fight between a fist fight between Jamaican stars Shaggy and Patra at a show he organised at Namboole.
“Bobi Wine is different and has been a leader even through his music”, he stated.
Following Bobi Wine’s victory, several artistes had revealed that they would emulate his example.
