The first time we used Cindy’s self proclaimed moniker, “The King Herself”, several hawk-eyed readers were quick to react thinking it was a mistake! Well, it is not a typo.Cindy is not the “Queen Herself” but prefers to call herself, “The King Herself”.
Yes, this goes against gender-grammar rules but Cindy has quite an interesting reason to why she arrived at that name.
“I have seen various female artistes calling themselves queens. The queen of this. Queen of that. Some have been here for three..four years and are calling themselves queens. Well, I have been in this industry for twelve years and it is time to separate the girls from the women. I am the King Herself!” she stated as she addressed her fans at “A Night With Cindy” concert over the weekend.
