Step aside musicians that need a hit to command serious prices for shows! We have been reliably informed that Hon. Bobi Wine, the Kyadondo East MP, might just be the most highly paid musician per gig in the country at the moment!

Sources close to the singer’s management have reliably informed us Bobi charges a cool Shs10m for a gig in Kampala and neighbouring areas like Wakiso, Entebbe and Mukono. Otherwise the legislator is even said to charges between Shs12m to Shs15m for shows upcountry.

According to the source, ‘even before a promoter pays the agreed amount, they are now advised to book a very spacious venue for the concert!’ Before joining Parliament, Bobi charged Shs4m to Shs7m but with his newfound popularity, everything is looking good!
