Daniel Kaluuya, the fast rising actor of the Get Out fame has an estranged father desperately hoping to reconcile with him. His dad, Stephen Kaluuya, 59, says he last saw him when Daniel was a tiny baby. He signed his birth certificate 28 years ago, then disappeared from his life.

“Stephen just wants the truth to come out and says he could be the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle left in Daniel’s life. Stephen saw Daniel as a newborn baby, but since then he has never met Daniel and doesn’t know how to get in touch with him. He keeps asking his friends for advice on how to contact Daniel”, The Sun reported.

They continued: “Stephen is a simple guy, he is not in Uganda, he is in London. He doesn’t want to interfere in someone’s life.

Not after money

“But if Daniel is interested, he wants to get to know him. We are all encouraging Stephen to
meet with Daniel. He is scared people will think it’s just because Daniel is famous, but that’s not the case. That’s one of the reasons he’s stayed away.”

Stephen has two more children – a 21-year-old and a 29-year-old from another relationship.

But Stephen has never watched any of Daniel’s works. And he has refused to change his number for 23 years, hoping that Daniel might one day call.
