Late Danz Kumapesa would not even look straight into my eyes. He was too young and shy to ask me out — Rema

In June last year, music producer Danz Kumapesa was attacked by unknown thugs and sustained injuries which later claimed his life.  Unfortunately, the cause of his death still remains a mystery.

Rumour had it that the late producer and singer Rema, Eddy Kenzo’s baby maama were ‘very close’. The rumour alleged that Kenzo could have had a hand in death of the late, an allegation he vehemently denied.

Rema has come out to address the allegations. During an interview with Urban TV, Rema cleared the air about the alleged relationship with Danz Kumapesa.

“ I heard that talk but it wasn’t true. Danz was too young and shy to ask me out. He wouldn’t even look straight into my eyes,” she said. Danz Kumapesa died at 20.
