The 19th edition of the Tusker Malt Lager-sponsored Blankets & Wine is slated for Sunday May 6 at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, and it looks like this particular edition has raised anticipation amongst music lovers.

Reason; our new star, the fresh boy- Fik Fameika is on this one. As usual, there will be visiting acts in form of South African celebrated disc spinner and musician Heavy K as well as The Ben from Rwanda.

While this may come off to many as just another edition of Blankets & Wine, it’s by all measures a very big deal for Fik Fameika; it will be the first time he squares off with visiting artistes as the only Ugandan performer.

Sources close to the Ugandan hip-hop artiste have told us he is keen to prove his might; “He is determined to carry the day. He is set to kick off rehearsals next week and they’ll go on till the eve of the event,” a source close to Fik Fameika told us.

Fik Fameika shot to fame late last year and so far continues to enjoy massive support and love from music lovers as well as music critics. Entry to Blankets & Wine will be Shs100k and tickets can be purchased using mobile money by dialing *252# for MTN and *152# for Airtel.
