Former Blu3 singer Cindy has come out to bash the media and other players in the music industry for prioritising money over talent. The self-proclaimed ‘King herself’ took to her Facebook page and expressed her concerns in a short post.

“It is the year 2018 when you don’t need to have talent or skill to be played on TV or trend on social media to win a local award. You just need to have money and the will to sacrifice…” she said.

She went on to say that if one wants to see real talent in the industry, they ought to go out and look for it themselves otherwise all they will get is hype and lies that have been paid for. She concluded by saluting all journalists, bloggers, presenters and other industry stakeholders such as the fans that still respect the real art and promote talent.
