Sanyu FM is the gift that keeps giving rewarding their listeners from time to time. And this time, we have an unlikely beneficiary in Moses Rudende formerly of XFM and currently working at NBS Television. Rudende won himself Shs840,000 on Sanyu FM’s Mystery Voice game called “Who Dat”.

Every weekday, Sanyu FM runs a Mystery Voice Cash Game on Sanyu Breakfast Show where a clip is played and listeners guess the owner of the voice. The voices range from local to international news makers. The reward accumulates by Shs10,000 every day that the listeners fail to get it right. The game takes place at 7:45am.

This time round, this mystery voice had eluded the listeners for over 3 months despite various clues being given. The correct answer was Joe Russo, a Co-Director of Avengers – Infinity Wars movie. It is therefore no surprise that Rudende: a renowned movie fanatic got it right.

The handover took place on Saturday, September 22 at Sanyu FM offices at Crane Chambers. The money was handed over by Veteran Sanyu FM Breakfast Show Presenter: James Onen also known as Fat Boy and the Station Programmes Director: Aziz Mukasa.

An ecstatic Rudende explained that on hearing the voice, it rang a bell but he had to do his research and that he had no doubt that he had gotten it right. “Winning is definitely a great feeling” Rudende said.

James Onen said that he was shocked that it was actually Rudende who had won. “It did not cross my mind at any one point. I was pleasantly surprised when he mentioned his name”. Currently, the voice up for grabs stands at Shs40,000.
