Shortly afterwards, traditional dancers joined him on stage as they premiered the song. Tarrus revealed that they had also shot part of the video and would crown it off with footage from the live stage performance.

“I have been to Zimbabwe, Kenya and other countries all over the world but today Uganda you are special ones because yesterday evening together with the Swangz Avenue team we came up with a song called ‘Uganda’ and we are finishing the video shoot here live on stage“, Tarrus Riley stated.

About a month later, Tarrus has kept his word! He has finally released the ‘Uganda’ music video.

The video features several  landmarks in the country. It starts off with Uganda Cranes jersey donning Tarrus Riley on a boda-boda.

It’s not your regular bodaboda- chaps. That’s Tarrus Riley right there with black hoodie

As the video progresses, there are various scenes that will please or provoke the interest of lovers of destination Uganda. He shows off the stunning aerial view of Mabira Forest, Tororo Rock, Source of the Nile in Jinja, a crafts shop, ‘melanin’ girls in kitenge, traditional dancers, River Nile and at one point, Amos Wekesa’s ‘Ondaba’ t-shirt features on a bodaboda rider.

This is incredibly one great advert for local tourism. It’s not surprising that Uganda Media Centre shared the music video! (Not a usual thing) Thank you Tarrus Riley!
