Journalist and political commentator, the self-proclaimed Old Man of the Clan Andrew Mwenda, isn’t a man who is often seen with the fairer sex, let alone getting soft-soft with them.

So yesterday, at the first Blankets and Wine edition of 2019, it was quite a sight to see Andrew Mwenda turn up with and spend the bigger part of the Sunday in the company of a lady, getting touchy-feely.

We are yet to identify the identity of the lady the ‘Old Man of the Clan’ showed up with and stuck to at the event –we shall divulge those details when we get them.

But what we can say is Andrew was clearly having a good time hanging with the fair lady in the exclusive VIP Johnnie Walker tent –which was out of bounds for revelers except those who belong to Malembe (an exclusive network of Kampala party people, most of them from affluent backgrounds).

Mwenda and the lady kept on whispering, looking into each other’s eyes, cheering performers, patting each other, even occasionally dancing!
