Ever since Prophet Elvis Mbonye broke out onto the ‘Prophets’ scene, a sizeable number of Ugandans have always come out to question whether the man of ‘gad’ has true powers of  a prophet.

Prophet Elvis Mbonye.

On several occasions, Mbonye has performed ‘miracles’ that have left his followers in awe and made them put to bed all doubts they might have had in him. One of these ‘miracles’ is allegedly using his powers to help university students pass exams and graduate, even when they are constrained by things like missing marks.

In line of the same, outspoken pastor Martin Ssempa has come out to wonder whether Mbonye has real powers of a prophet to perform the miracles he and his followers claim to perform.

Using his Twitter page, Ssempa called out Mbonye in a tweet where he wondered that if he (Mbonye) has ‘super powers’, why hasn’t he helped his deputy a one Simon Senyonga to pass his Law Development Center (LDC) bar course.

According to Ssempa, Senyonga has failed LDC exams twice and that he is a ‘serial retaker.’ Ssempa shared photos of documents from Makerere University confirming the same, where the university has allowed Ssenyonga and others that failed to repeat the course.

“I personally advise you to stop duping people that you are able to help them graduate without merit. You are spreading misinformation and creating a Kibwetere cult following of Makerere University students who abandon studying and focus on licking your boots,” Ssempa tweeted to Mbonye.
