Kampala socialite Charles Olim aka Sipapa was yesterday thrown out of his rental in Mutungo, over failure to clear seven months’ rent arrears.

According to his landlord, Sipapa last paid rent in July last year and since then he has been dodging him. He said this prompted him to run to court that earlier this month gave him an eviction order. Sipapa owes his landlord Shs7 million in rent arrears.

The landlord further explained that the self-proclaimed tycoon has also not paid water bills for a year and the water meter was confiscated last month.

The pictures that made rounds online show Sipapa’s property being loaded on a truck under the supervision of Police.

Sipapa is popularly known for splashing cash and cruising expensive rides around town, but this is not the first time Sipapa has been evicted from rentals.

In September 2018, Sipapa was evicted by a one Sarah Namukasa in Namugongo over four months’ rent arrears. During the process, Sipapa assaulted Alex Bongole, a Spark TV Journalist who was taking pictures of the eviction.
