Drama actor and former Rubaga South legislator Kato Lubwama is back in the country from a Turkish hospital in Medicana, Konya, where he has been receiving specialized treatment after he underwent surgery.

Last week, the former MP returned to Uganda after undergoing several surgeries.

While speaking in an interview on local television, Lubwama, who appeared to be getting better, told “haters” to back off his health concerns.

If I reach a point of begging for treatment, God should let me die,” Lubwama said.

Nonetheless, he thanked all the people who had been praying for his speedy recovery. He disclosed that he would be going back to Turkey in May for checkups and treatment.

Meanwhile, in 2014, Lubwama held a fundraising show dubbed “A Night with Kato Lubwama” at his then Royal Theatre for pending heart surgery.
