State Minister for Karamoja Affairs Agnes Nandutu has quashed circulating rumours of her death. In a video that is making rounds on social media, Nandutu said that she is fine.

Nandutu’s reaction comes a few days after reports circulated that she was admitted to a hospital in Kampala after allegedly falling in the bathroom.

“Who are those spreading lies that I am dead?” Those who love me don’t cry. I am very much alive and kicking. Let me enjoy my life as I serve my country,” said Nandutu while enjoying her cup of tea.

Meanwhile, the former NTV journalist did not comment on the alleged accident she had in her bathroom at her home.

It was the accident that triggered the death reports, as many claimed that she had gotten a blood clot and was not doing well.
