On Tuesday, MC Kats’ workmate Sheilah Gashumba, through her Twitter page, started a ‘Shs500,000 birthday challenge’ to celebrate the self-proclaimed King of the Mic’s birthday, which happened yesterday, June 1st.
Sheillah requested every artist to ‘bless’ MC Kats Shs500k as a “thank you” for his contribution to the industry.
A number of celebrities, including artists, media personalities, managers, and promoters, among others, welcomed the idea and sent in their contributions.
The veteran emcee could not hide his excitement as he thanked each and everyone who contributed to the challenge.
MC Kats shared mobile money messages of everyone who sent him money, and below is the list:
