Bethel Healing Center Pastor Irene Manjeri has come out to reveal that a lot of big men slide into her DM to request marriage.
While speaking in an interview on local television, Manjeri narrated that ever since she bitterly separated from her husband, Dr. Vincent Katongole last year over allegations of infidelity and threats of violence, her social media DMs, and her phone have been buzzing with phone texts and calls from numerous men.
“It’s true a lot of men want me and are after me but I’m not yet ready for them. They send me texts on social media, others always find ways to get my phone number and call me and despite blocking them severally, they still find a way to reach me,” Manjeri revealed.
She added that despite attempts to shun them away, they have always managed to find her.
The Woman of God said that she is not interested in any of their advances and wants to set a good precedent for her kids.
The 51-year-old Manjeri added that it would not be a good move if she jumps into a new relationship right now shortly after splitting with her ex-husband Katongole.
“I don’t want to rush into a relationship as I want to take my time and eventually find the right person. Quickly jumping into another relationship will also send a wrong signal to my children, as they will be confused since they are still engulfed by their father’s shocking behavior. On top of that, I don’t want to be like I’m competing against my ex Katongole in replacing him. Besides I think I’m mature enough to withhold my intimate desires, I’m therefore here to serve God,” she said.
