Young rapper Felista cancels maiden concert after organizer allegedly runs away with Shs50m

Young rapper Felista Di Superstar has announced that her maiden concert, ‘Felista Fest Concert,’ which was scheduled to take place on April 1 at Wankulukuku, will not be happening as one of the organizers ran away with over Shs50 million.

Through her official Facebook page, the youngster disclosed that the stolen money was to be used for organizing the concert.

“I have a lot of pain in my heart,” reads part of Felista’s post.

However, she vowed to remain determined to pursue her music career.

Felista Di Superstar, who is now in Senior Two burst onto the music scene in 2019. Her music is characterized by fast rap and playful lyricism. She has also been often commended for having a more mature approach to music than her fellow youngsters.

Her fan base has been anticipating her concert, which she announced in December of last year. Preparations for the concert were in full swing, with various sponsors already on board to ensure its success, but unfortunately, it won’t be happening.
