Following several promises of getting married ‘very soon,’ the lead pastor of Light the World International Ministries, Wilson Bugembe, has stated that he will not be making any more promises about when he will be getting married.

The 40-year-old preacher has been in the public eye for almost 20 years, but one thing that has always sparked discussion about him is his romantic life. Last year, Bugembe promised to get married this year, but before we even reach midyear, the Man of God seems tired of making empty promises.

“I won’t make promises anymore of getting married because the last time I promised, I got ashamed when the promise didn’t come to life. So the next time, I just want to take action, but I need your prayers because it is not easy,” said Bugembe during one of his church services.

Bugembe further promised to one day narrate his ‘rough’ journey to finding love.

“One day I will narrate my journey. It ends with someone shedding tears. I thank God; he has done a lot in my life and one time I promised that I would burst into tears on my wedding day. Not because of love or tears of joy but recollecting on what I have gone through in the journey of finding love,” he said.

Last year, the pastor confirmed that he was dating and would marry soon. However, with such developments, we assume it ended in tears, but he seems not ready to give up on finding love and getting married. You have our best wishes, Pastor Bugembe.
