Media personality Ruth Kalibbala Bwanika has stepped down from her role as the host of the Mwasuze Mutya show on NTV Uganda.

Kalibbala has been the host of the morning show for the last five months since the long-time host of the show, Faridah Nakazibwe, quit NTV. Nakazibwe, who recently left the country and reportedly relocated to Canada in pursuit of greener pastures, had worked at NTV for 17 years.

While the exact reasons behind her resignation remain undisclosed, Kalibbala confirmed her decision in an interview with her former colleague Kasuku on YouTube.
