Minister Norbert Mao and Beatrice Kayanja tie the knot at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Gulu City

The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Norbert Mao, and his longtime fiancée, Beatrice Kayanja, have tied the knot in a glamorous wedding ceremony in Gulu City.

The couple walked down the aisle this morning at St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, who is among the many notable figures at the event, is serving as Norbert Mao’s best man. Others in attendance include Afande Asan Kasingye, Hon. Mukasa Mbidde, and EALA MP Hon. Gerald Silanda, among others.

Pictures and videos from the wedding are making the rounds on social media. The couple will later be hosting their guests at a yet-to-be-revealed reception venue in Gulu city.

Earlier this week, Mao and Beatrice Kayanja held a traditional introduction ceremony. The colorful event took place on Saturday at Najjemba village in the Wakiso district.

Also, in February this year, Mao was formally introduced by Beatrice Kayanja to her parents. The Kukyala ceremony took place at Beatrice’s parents’ home in Najjanakumbi.
