Men choosing to marry more than one woman is common in Uganda, but singer Karole Kasita has said that she cannot accept being a co-wife.

Speaking in an interview, the ‘Onkubya Yaka’ singer said that though she’s not against those who settle for being in a polygamous relationship, she is too jealous to be in such a relationship.

“I can’t date a married man because, personally, I cannot share a man. I would faint if I found out that my man has another woman or just heard rumors about it,” said Karole Kasita.

The singer further explained that her displeasure for such relationships is because she’s emotionally vulnerable.

“I am very selfish when it comes to my man. He has to be mine alone, no compromise,” she said.

Kasita is a mother of one, but she has never publicly disclosed the father of her child despite reports linking fellow singer Fefe Buusi to being responsible.
