Hollywood star and Fast & Furious icon Tyrese Gibson has officially confirmed his much-anticipated visit to Uganda.
Taking to Instagram, the award-winning actor and singer excitedly shared the news with fans:
“Rumor has it—I’m on my way to Uganda. If you’re looking for a confirmation, it’s true!”
Tyrese will be attending the Uganda Coffee Festival, where he will not only celebrate the country’s rich coffee heritage but also use his platform to uplift local coffee farmers.
Beyond the festival, the star has also pledged his support for the Coffee Marathon, set for May 24, 2025, at the Africa Coffee Park in Ntungamo.
This year’s marathon, themed “Uplifting the Rural Coffee Woman Out of Poverty,” aims to raise awareness and funds to empower rural women working in Uganda’s coffee sector.
Expressing his commitment to the cause, Tyrese stated:
“I am standing in support of the Coffee Marathon, empowering the rural women in Uganda’s coffee communities—these are the women who make it possible for us to enjoy a great cup of coffee.”
Adding to the excitement, the event will also feature Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz as the headlining act.
