“Anyone who has been stealing should stop and work with their own hands,” Pastor Bugembe speaks out after his car is vandalised

Thugs have vandalised a vehicle belonging to gospel singer and pastor Wilson Bugembe, just a day after his annual Worship Night. The incident happened in Bulenga along Mityana Road.

While preaching at Worship House Church in Nansana, Bugembe recounted the incident with humour and disbelief, saying the thieves confidently removed all the lights from his car.

He explained that a new group of criminals now uses boda bodas to mask their actions, pretending to hold conversations beside cars while stealing parts.

Bugembe confirmed that his car had been targeted and reminded the culprits that nothing is hidden from God.

Instead of reacting with anger, he said he prayed for the thieves to change their ways before the year ends. Citing scripture, Bugembe added that those who steal should stop and work with their own hands so they can support others.

He also revealed that vandals tore down his Worship Night billboard but left President Museveni’s billboard—right next to it—untouched.

Bugembe used the moment to caution people who steal even inside churches, saying God cannot be mocked.

“One day, God will show you that He is almighty,” he warned.
