Ruparelia Foundation set to equip Kamwokya with sanitation facilities using proceeds from Goat Races

Before the annual fun-filled event of Goat Races happened this year in October, Ruparelia Group managing director, Rajiv Ruparelia explained how the event is beyond only offering fun to the masses.

Rajiv said The Goat Races is a life-changing event where people can network for the better of society.

Kamwokya will this Friday experience the charitable hand of the Ruparelia Foundation as their sanitation facilities are set to positively change face after the ground break ceremony.

Using proceeds from the Royal Ascot Goat Races, The Ruparelia Foundation will kick-off the construction of sanitation facilities in various areas of Kamwokya.

Just like any other slum in Kampala, Kamwokya has had worrying state sanitary facilities and it is no surprise that the foundation is aiming at improving their sanitation.

Ascot royal goat races was a success this year at Speke Resort Munyonyo. The event was graced by stylish and classy party goers including deputy speaker Jacob Oulanyah, regular socialites such as Judith Heard, diplomats, politicians, businessmen.
