Assuming that you are not thinking of walk-ins, reach-in closets are the ideal ones for a small bedroom. In fact, to capitalise on your space, don’t even think of closets with swinging doors. There is a variety of space friendly closets on the market today. With the help of these tips you will be able to decide on the perfect closet for your bedroom.

Go wooden gray

Cool gray wooden doors offer a soft vibe to your closet whilst adding a trendy serene space to your bedroom. Consider painting the doors in your favourite hue to add a wow factor.

Pocket door closet

An alternative to the trendy sliding door is the pocket door closet. This is a mostly door-less closet with an exception of a tenth it which is enclosed to look like a pocket. This type of closet looks more beautiful if it is in-built.

Curtain closet

This is basically a closet which uses curtains instead of doors. The curtains are hung high and wide with the end result being a natural looking bedroom. You can then play with a subtle pattern to add depth and texture.

Bi-fold doors

These are closet doors that fold in the middle. They are not most people’s first choice as they as they are often seen as outdated. However, these simple doors are great at saving space. If painted white and surrounded by floral print, you will never find a more adorable sight.

Frosted doors

These frosted doors can mean to be cute and convenient as they can be a great space saver since they mostly come as sliding doors. Frosted doors especially with a hint of blue coordinate with the room’s soft, calming atmosphere.

Mirror image

With a mirror closet, you will be shooting two birds with one stone. Yes most closets have mirrors, but if you feature the whole exterior of your closet with large mirrors, the light from them will reflect into your room making it look and feel bigger. You know, aside from using the mirror for dressing.

Play with bold colours

Although light colours closets give your room space, do not be afraid to experiment with bold daring colours. The bronze colour is bold and reflective which will add depth and a touch of glamour to the space.
